Coming into a world of new possibilities

I did not know what to expect in this Winter School. I was not sure who I will meet and what kind of environment will it be. I got the call from Simunye, a workers organisation, asking me to attend the school this year at Khanya. I got here to an environment and met people from different backgrounds, organisations and all fighting a common struggle in different ways. Most importantly, we all had a common goal which was to learn. With little knowledge on media and how it is structured. I leave this place tomorrow very informed, empowered, driven and more ambitious. I feel like something in me has changed. I will definitely share this with my community and organisation.
