My journey to become a Social Justice activist Sharon Motoko

My journey to becoming an activist started when I worked for a company called MECS. Our boss was mistreating us and used to insult this, this drove us to join a trade union, this however did not work as they did not represent us well. They go to CCMA unprepared and unable to represent you satisfactory. I then heard of Simunye and the work they do, I then decided to join Simunye and they helped me see things differently, they guided us and gave us training every month. We meet every week and discuss labour issues. Simunye helped us open a case against our boss and we won the case.
